SEMiPyP 2026

Verónica participated in the 2026 edition of the conference of the Spanish Society of Microbiota, Probiotics and Prebiotics, hosted in Málaga.

This year, the XVII congress of the Spanish Society of Microbiota, Probiotics and Prebiotics took place in Málaga. This conference brings together researchers, medical doctors and experts in nutrition to discuss the latest advancements in the field.

Verónica gave an invited talk in the context of the round table “Microbiota en el contexto materno-infantil”, where she explained the work of the group in metatranscriptomics to study the functionality of the microbiota, and how it can be applied to this context.

Overall, it was a great conference where we could connect with many other researchers in Spain and abroad, but also good to see that our research has an impact and moves on to the clinic.
